Clemmons Architecture strives to create innovative designs that fulfill their programmatic needs, better the local community, and are environmentally sustainable. The primary measure of success for each project is meeting the client”s goals for performance, cost, and schedule. In addition it is important that each project enhance its local environment, whether it is rural, suburban, or urban. And finally we believe that sustainable buildings are smarter buildings which are not only cost effective but improve people”s lives.
Our diverse portfolio includes experience with residential, commercial, and institutional projects. We focus on urban infill and redevelopment projects: large and small, new construction and historic preservation. For new construction projects, we produce contemporary designs reflecting our belief that the best architects of all ages have incorporated the well tested lessons of the past while optimistically creating an architecture of their own time. In addition to our architectural work, we also provide urban design services including site plan studies for individual parcels and master plans for large mixed-use projects.
First formed in 1996, we re-organized as clemmonsArchitecture in 2001. Our studio-style office encourages interaction between employees and reflects our philosophy of architectural design as a collaborative enterprise. Currently clemmonsArchitecture has six employees with two licensed architects, three intern architects, and an office manager. Tim Clemmons is principal-in-charge for every project and is intimately involved with each from conception to completion. Each project also has a project manager whose role is to ensure the project meets its quality, budget, and time goals.
